Get ready to unleash your inner zombie at Haunted Dream's 1st Annual Zombie Walk and Costume Contest!

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, join us for a ghoulishly good time as we shuffle, crawl, and walk through the city of Petersburg in our best zombie attire. With a distance of approximately 1.5 miles, this event is perfect for all ages.

Registration is only $10 per person, and includes a Zombie Walk keepsake. All proceeds will directly support Haunted Dream's community haunt projects and events. You must pre-register to participate in costume contest and zombie walk.

• Distance: Approx. 1.5 miles
• Registration Fee: $10 per person (PLEASE NOTE: all participants must be registered including children)

EVENT SCHEDULE:

• 5:30 PM: Check-in Opens
• 6:00 PM: Zombie Costume Contest Judging
• 6:30 PM: 1.5-Mile Zombie Walk Begins

Here are the categories we will be judging. Prizes will be awarded at the pre-walk meet up.

 - Most Disgusting

 - Best Zombie Kid

 - Zombie of the Year (Best Overall)

⚠️ COSTUME CONTEST PARTICIPANTS: If you plan to compete in the costume contest, you must arrive and check in by 6:00 PM to be eligible for judging!

Throw on your favorite zombie makeup and costume and come support Haunted Dream.

📌 IMPORTANT EVENT INFO & RULES:

• Pre-registration is required by every participant including children ($10/person).

• Registration fees are non-refundable donations.

• Must arrive and check in by 6:00 PM to enter the Costume Contest.

• Minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian at all times (keep children off active roadways and in designated walk areas).

• Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for an evening park walk.

• No pets/animals allowed.

• By registering, participants agree to all event terms, liability waivers, and photo releases.
