You should read ALL our haunt policies, they're designed to keep guests and our volunteers and scareactors safe. But you should especially keep in mind the following:
1. Madhaunter's Madhouse is a VERY POPULAR ATTRACTION. This means that on most nights there will be lots of people at the haunt and wait times can be an hour or more (sometimes even two hours) to enter the haunted trail. We have a bar, food trucks, big screen movie, paintball arena, and escape room so that you can have fun while you wait.
2. October nights in Virginia can be very COLD, WET, or MUDDY. Please DRESS APPROPRIATELY for the weather as Madhaunter's Madhouse is an outdoor attraction. We want you to be warm and dry and comfy, especially if the line is long.
3. While we cannot offer refunds for your ticket purchase (except in the event we cancel a night of the haunt due to weather or other circumstances) we ARE happy to exchange your unused haunt entry ticket (white) for a certificate for haunt entry on any other night this season.
Haunt rules to know before you arrive at the haunt, which are key to ensuring that you have a safe and fun visit:
- This haunt is not intended for young children or the faint of heart. Recommended age is 13 years and older. May be considered too intense for some guests.
- No Smoking
- No running, pushing, or shoving
- No food or drinks allowed in the attraction
- No flash photos or cameras permitted
- Do not touch the actors. They will not touch you.
- Do not touch any props or decorations
- HAVE FUN and SCREAM as much as you want!
- Enter at your own risk.

Cancellation Policy:
If the haunt is canceled on a given night for weather or any other reasons, your ticket will be honored on any remaining night of the haunt. If you cannot attend the haunt during the rest of the season, you'll have two options. 1. If you take no action, the cost of your ticket will be considered a donation. 2. If you would like a refund, please email [email protected] NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 4 to request a refund. Please include your order number or email receipt so that we can find and process your order. After November 4th, all remaining tickets will be considered.
