The Golden Age of the Ghost Story Returns…
The night is hosted by a character known as a “Revisionist,” a person that retains the innate ability to speak with the unliving, to hear what sent them, and at times help to reveal and rewrite their circumstances and untimely demise. A Revisionist will narrate a riveting 90 minute story (in character), on the lawn of the Historic Rockwood Mansion, and tell the never-before-heard stories while interacting with a myriad of professionally acted vignettes.
The production will always be paving new theatrical directions....and this year, it will be in a theater style, set with the gothic mansion as a truly eerie backdrop.
This year's event will be based on an amazing novella, written by lead writer A.C.Parsons, entitled:
“SUNSET ON SUNSET.”
Hollywood, 1930.
After a shocking tragedy in New York, three young women board a cross-country bus bound for Hollywood, each determined to leave the past behind. They arrive in a city built on dreams, where a struggling motion picture studio is fighting to survive the upheaval of the talking-picture revolution.
Blending historical fiction, mystery, ghost story, and classic noir, Sunset on Sunset is a haunting tale of Hollywood's Golden Age, where some secrets echo long after the final curtain falls.
Buy the Book & Meet the Author!
Copies of Sunset on Sunset will be available for purchase during intermission and after the finale of the show. Author A.C Parsons (Head Writer of the Revisionists) will be on hand to meet and greet fans and signs books.
